WIC istance question?

well.. they will be JERKS about it, but yeah they will let you! same thing happened to me sort of. feeding went great in the hospital, and then when i came home he just refused to latch on... I went to WIC 6 weeks later when i had my appointment ( i had been buying the formula) and they tried to get me to feed him when my milk was LONG gone... i was like excuse me but it is my decision. i tried. it didn't work! DEAL WITH IT! they lectured me for no joke like 45 minutes about how horrible it is for my son to not feed him, but in the end i left with formula checks. you will have to give the pump back though. I don't know what your WIC officers are like, but the ones at mine basically hate you if you don't feed, so if you can handle the lectures, they will let you switch!
