Time to let go?

Latley this boy I liked be puttin me on hold. What i mean by that is I told him that I liked him for about a week (at least) he kept saying over and "I don't know maybe". Last Thursday we started talking and this other boy liked me too...I started to like him but he was just not my type...at all. He asked him do you like her? And he said yea...When he said that I didn't know if he was lieing or not, all I knew was he was trying to hide something. I asked him if he considered himself a pimp aka playin girls. He said no. But foreal like he's really gonna tell me the truth. So Last Friday it was time to decide I said yes since I really liked him and it was a surprise that he said yes so I choosed him. My ex-boyfriend said to dared me to sit in his lap. I was thinking...o wow this isn't me but ok...we both got in trouble and now he dosen't even want admitt we go out he says to people now that the other boy can have her. He says he likes me...lier?I feel tottaly dissed.Is it time to let go?
