Question for Australians who whinge that the Australian cricket team are victims of bad umpiring.?

I was watching a replay of a one day game played between Australia and New Zealand in the Commonwealth Bank Cup in 2007.I noticed a very major umpiring mistake that really altered the balance of the game! Chasing 300 plus, the New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent was given out on a dodgy catch made by Michael Clarke, even though it clearly did not hit his bat at all, and came off his pads without making contact with the bat in any way! It was given out, and even the commentators showed a replay and ran it on hotspot and hawkeye - and even they admitted it was bad umpiring! Nothing was done about the decision or even said about it even though New Zealand only just lost the game because they were run out in their last over with a few runs required! The Australian media said nothing about what I feel was a disgraceful example of Australian desperation when they look like losing. Even worse Australians have the hide to complain about how we were treated during the first two Ashes tests? I struggle to comprehend.
